Trade and economic сollege of Astana (Cooperative College) was opened in 1956.
The first director of a Cooperative College of Akmola region Consumer Union was Korolchenko Alexander Petrovich.

Korolchenko Alexander Petrovich was born on 9 August 1921 in the village of B-Fedorova, Zverenskogo region, Rostov oblast.
He was drafted to the front in August 1943. He participated in the fighting prior to the final of the Great Patriotic war. For successes in combat and political training was awarded with 4 governmental awards.
He was director of the Akmola cooperative College since 1956 year.
Alexander Petrovich together with the teachers have constructed the academic building and hostel, created a teaching staff, made great efforts to bring the college into the ranks of the best in his time not only in Kazakhstan but also in the system of consumer cooperatives in the USSR.
Alexander Petrovich has managed in a short time to mobilize the team for his active creative work for the preparation of highly qualified specialists, demanded by the collective discipline and dedication to the College. He always was humane.

Horzewski M. V. was born on April 22, 1934 in the village of Ruda-Gorchichny, Minkowski district, Hmelnitskiy region Ukrainian SSR. After graduating from the Institute in 1957 was sent to Akmola cooperative College as a teacher of accounting.
He was Deputy Director of studies from 1960 to 1963.
M. V. Horzewski was Director of the Tselinograd cooperative College from 1963 to 1964.
Mikhail has made a significant contribution to the development of the College. Professional knowledge, the ability to make unconventional decisions, ability to interact with people has allowed Mikhail Vladimirovich successfully learn a new difficult and responsible area of work.
